Serum & Jar is a small independent reference site about luxury skincare. It is organized the way a routine runs, from serums and essences to creams, eye care and buying, and each page tries to answer one question fully, with the direct answer first.

Where the numbers come from

Sizes, ingredients, textures and directions come from what each brand and its listings state. Routine order and amounts follow what the skincare houses commonly recommend. Prices per ml are plain arithmetic from the price and the stated size. The site makes no promises about results and gives no medical advice; the directions on your product always win where they differ from a general rule, and a dermatologist is the person to ask about your skin.

How products are chosen

We do not run a lab and we do not claim hands-on testing. Buying guides compare products by what their Amazon listings state. How we pick products explains the method and its limits.

How the site is paid for

Links to Amazon are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the site may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That is the only income. Nobody pays to be included, and a product is never listed because of its commission. See the affiliate disclosure.
