**Short answer:** Absolue Longevity MD is a range within Lancome's Absolue line that Lancome organizes by life stage. Intercept is a face cream Lancome describes for the mid-age 35 to 55 stage, and Reset is a serum it describes for mature skin over 55. Both are built around Mitopure, which Lancome describes as a 98.5% pure, micronized form of Urolithin-A. In our guides, the Reset serum is 50 ml at $175 and the Intercept cream is 50 ml at $155.

Lancome's Absolue line already had several jars, so the arrival of Absolue Longevity MD left many shoppers asking what it is and how it relates to the core Absolue creams. This page is for anyone who has seen the name and wants a plain explanation. It covers how Lancome positions the range, the ingredients it lists for each product, the sizes and listed prices, how to use each one according to Lancome's directions, and how it compares with Absolue The Soft Cream and The Rich Cream. We describe ingredients only as Lancome does and do not repeat its clinical result figures or make any promises about results.

## Where Longevity MD sits in the Absolue line

Absolue is Lancome's luxury skincare line. Its core jars are The Soft Cream and The Rich Cream, built around Absolue PDRN, rose extracts and Pro-Xylane as Lancome lists them. Our [what is Lancome Absolue](https://serumandjar.com/blog/what-is-lancome-absolue) page covers those.

Longevity MD is a separate range inside Absolue with a different organizing idea. Rather than offering one formula in light and rich textures, Lancome splits it by life stage and calls the products a new generation of longevity skincare. Intercept is aimed at the 35 to 55 life stage, described as intercepting visible signs as they appear. Reset is aimed at skin over 55, described as resetting visible signs after they appear. Both center on an ingredient that the core Absolue creams do not list: Mitopure.

| Product | Type | Life stage per Lancome | Size | Listed price | Per ml |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Absolue Longevity MD Intercept | Cream | 35 to 55 | 50 ml (1.7 fl oz) | $155 | About $3.10 |
| Absolue Longevity MD Reset | Serum | Over 55 | 50 ml (1.69 fl oz) | $175 | About $3.50 |
| Absolue The Soft Cream | Cream | Not specified | 30 ml (1.0 oz) | $170 | About $5.67 |
| Absolue The Rich Cream | Cream | Not specified | 59 ml (2.0 oz) | $280 | About $4.75 |

## Ingredients Lancome lists

**Mitopure.** Lancome describes Mitopure as a 98.5% pure, micronized form of Urolithin-A, and calls it a postbiotic recognized in the longevity field. It appears in both products.

**Intercept compound (in the cream).** Lancome says the cream combines Mitopure with its proprietary Intercept compound, which it describes as fusing LHA, Matrixyl, Niacinamide and Rose Pro-Xylane with Taurine, supported by Senevisium and Rhamnose.

**Reset compound (in the serum).** Lancome lists a Unique Reset Compound with Senevisium, Rhamnose, Niacinamide, Rose Pro-Xylane and Taurine alongside Mitopure.

Several of these are brand or trade names. To see how they appear on the box, read the INCI list; Pro-Xylane, for example, is listed as Hydroxypropyl Tetrahydropyrantriol. Our [ingredient list guide](https://serumandjar.com/blog/how-to-read-a-skincare-ingredient-list) explains how to read it.

## How to use Absolue Longevity MD Reset serum

Lancome says to use the serum morning and night, before moisturizer. Reset The Cream is mentioned on the serum listing, but it is not among the products in our guides, so any Absolue cream or other moisturizer can follow. See [serum before or after moisturizer](https://serumandjar.com/blog/serum-before-or-after-moisturizer) and [how much serum to use](https://serumandjar.com/blog/how-much-serum-to-use).

1. Cleanse your face.
2. Dispense 1 pump of serum onto clean skin, as Lancome directs.
3. Smooth it evenly over face and neck.
4. Massage in with a gentle kneading motion until absorbed.
5. Follow with moisturizer. Lancome suggests pairing it with Absolue Longevity MD Reset The Cream.
6. In the morning, apply daytime SPF as the final skincare step.

## How to use Absolue Longevity MD Intercept cream

Lancome describes the texture as ultra-refined, melting on contact and absorbing quickly, and says it suits all skin types. At $155 for 50 ml, it lists for less per ml than the core Absolue jars in our guides. Our [how much face cream to use](https://serumandjar.com/blog/how-much-face-cream-to-use) page explains amounts, and [where sunscreen goes](https://serumandjar.com/blog/sunscreen-in-a-luxury-routine) covers the morning order.

1. Apply any serum first and let it settle.
2. Take a small amount of cream onto your fingertips, about a pea size.
3. Smooth it evenly over face and neck.
4. Massage in with a gentle kneading motion, as Lancome directs.
5. In the morning, finish with sunscreen as the last step.

- If refills matter to you, the core Soft Cream and Rich Cream have refills in our guides; Longevity MD listings do not mention a refill.
- Lancome's life-stage labels are guidance from the brand, not a rule. Choose by texture, routine step and budget.

Note: Patch test new products before using them on your whole face, and introduce one new product at a time.
